A hands-on day of baking at The Riverford Field Kitchen. Learn to make sourdough - from classic loaf to baguettes & hearty rye. and loaves. Enjoy an organic lunch, and take home your own starter, recipes and bread.

Spend a day getting hands-on with real bread. You’ll learn how to mix, fold, stretch and shape dough, baking a range of sourdough loaves — from classic loaf to baguettes & hearty rye.
All equipment is provided and you’ll take home your own sourdough starter, detailed recipes, and plenty of freshly baked bread and buns.
You'll make your own sourdough pizza for an relaxed organic lunch accompanied by delicious Riverford salads prepared by our Field Kitchen chefs — a true taste of the farm & seasonal produce from our veg boxes.
Perfect for beginners and keen home bakers alike, this practical, down-to-earth course is a full day of good food, great company and plenty of floury fun.

Time: 9.30am - 4.30pm (please note, the workshop can run over a little so please be aware of this if booking public transport)
