A seasonal menu

Our menu is set, and changes every day to reflect what’s fresh on the farm. Here are some of the dishes we’re cooking up this week…

Starters

  • Freshly baked focaccia

  • Kale, confit beetroot & tamari pumpkin seeds

    with cashew nut butter
  • Raw root salad

    with green dressing, dukka & pickled red onion

Mains

  • Leg of lamb with tomato & spiced bean stew

    (V) Fennel tart (VG) Baked Squash
  • Carrots, cumin & confit garlic

  • Broccoli, chilli & lemon

  • Caraway & Nigella potatoes

Puddings

  • Selection of seasonal puddings to choose from such as:

  • Mango & Pineapple Pavlova

  • Pear & almond frangipane

  • Orange marmalade trifle

Times & prices

Lunch £23.50 pp (£11.75 for children aged 3-12yrs)

Mon to Sat: Arrive 12.30pm for 1pm / Sunday: Arrive at 12.00 for 12.30pm or 3.30pm for 4pm

 

Supper £27.50 pp(£13.75 for children aged 3-12yrs)

Arrive 7pm for 7.30pm

Infants under 3yrs are free of charge

Growers and suppliers

Organic veg will always be the star of your plate – much of it grown just a stone’s throw away, right here on the farm. From seasonal staples to the weird and wonderful world of kohlrabi, cardoons and salsify, there’s always something fresh to try.

If we didn’t grow or make it ourselves, we know who did. Riverford only works with small-scale producers we know and trust, ensuring our food is completely traceable and as sustainable as possible. It’s not just better for us: we work with suppliers over the long-term, agree prices well in advance and always stick to those prices, guaranteeing a level of stability that’s very unusual in this industry.
