Covid-19

We want to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to make our space a safe place for you to visit.  We have obviously had to make changes to the way we operate.  Hopefully the information below explains what to expect when you arrive but please feel free to get in touch or speak to a co-owner on arrival if anything isn't clear.

We are limiting the number of guests at each service to ensure social distancing is adhered to and we have cleaning measures in place to keep everybody safe. We obviously ask that you listen to our team and work with us to make dining with us in these ever-changing times as enjoyable as possible.

We still believe that great food tastes better when shared with friends but at the moment, we understand that sharing plates of food is not very ideal. With this in mind, you will only share a table and food with people you have booked with. We ask guests to book as groups who are comfortable to sit and eat together and to follow our guidance on arrival for safe distancing from other groups of guests and our carefully planned service for food and drink.

Please wear a face covering to the restaurant. Once you are seated by a member of our team, you may take it off. Please note anytime you leave your table, you must put the face covering back on.

Maximum booking of 6 guests: Regrettably, due to government guidance, we can only accept bookings of a maximum of 6 guests from now on and parties can only be comprised of one household or ‘bubble’.

Parties may be asked to sign a disclaimer to confirm they are all part of one household (or an individual from a single household attached to their bubble) as we have to be aware about the potential discomfort to other guests in the presence of larger groups.

The government have stated they will be reviewing the restrictions on 16th December, but we cannot be sure that mixed household groups will be permitted any time before Christmas so we kindly request that guests do not make bookings of mixed households as they may have to be cancelled

Some polite do’s and don’ts

Please sanitise your hands on arrival.  We have a sanitiser at the entrance.

Please wait at the entrance to the restaurant to be greeted and shown to your table.

Please respect the space of other diners & our Co-Owners.

Please remain at your table during the meal – drinks orders will be taken at the table.

Please do not share food or drinks between tables.  If you need anything, please ask one of our Co-Owners.

Please respect any one-way systems in place.  If you do pass others, please do so considerately and pass back-to-back.

If possible, please pay by contactless methods.

Finally, don’t be alarmed by some of our team members wearing face coverings. We know it’s not very welcoming but we wish to ensure that our guests and Co-Owners are kept as safe as possible.

Cancellations due to Covid-19

Obviously we are running more relaxed cancellation terms on our dining bookings and workshop bookings.  If you have symptoms and need to cancel a booking with us, we will refund in full any deposit or tickets paid.  If we need to cancel dining and workshops, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund.
