At Riverford, we're proud and unapologetic veg nerds. We also believe that the mighty vegetable should be the hero on any plate, which is why we are big supporters of anyone opting for a vegan diet. Outline of the day
- 9.30am - Welcome to Riverford Field Kitchen
Arrive at the Riverford Field Kitchen for refreshments. Course tutor & Riverford chef Bob Andrew will outline the plan for the day.
- 10am - Get your vegan taste buds inspired
We’ll take a cross-section of seasonal veg from the farm and build some simple but striking dishes using a variety of tricks and techniques. We’ll look at how to make sure you can maintain a good level of protein in your diet while still ticking boxes for taste and texture.
- 11.30am - Vegan puddings
We’ll take a brief look at the area most people struggle; vegan desserts. You can have your cake and eat it.
- 12.30pm - Lunch
Time for or an unforgettable vegan three-course organic lunch.
- 3pm - Event Close
