Seville Orange & Citrus Fruits Marmalade-Making Workshop
A calming January marmalade-making session is a good antidote to the mayhem of Christmas and New Year. So come and put your apron on and get peeling, slicing and simmering and fill The Riverford Field Kitchen with the distinctive bittersweet aroma of Seville oranges.
Our expert hosts Pam the Jam and Liz the Pickle will share their top tips for making Seville orange and other citrus fruit marmalades and will guide you step by step as you make your own.
They will show you two methods for making traditional marmalade as well as a fruity reduced sugar marmalade. Then it will be hands on making your very own to take home. They will also show you how to make limoncello and the best ever lemon curd.
Day starts with coffee at 9.30am and finishes at 3pm. And of course no visit to The Riverford Field Kitchen would be complete without a light, seasonal lunch. At the end of the day you will take home everything you made plus a selection of what Pam and Liz demo'd.
