Sabzi Supper with Yasmin Khan

“If there’s one word that defines the food I love to eat, it’s sabzi.”
– Yasmin Khan

We’re delighted to welcome Yasmin Khan to the Field Kitchen to celebrate the launch of her deeply personal new cookbook, Sabzi—a love letter to vegetables, fresh herbs, and the power of food to nourish and connect.

In Persian, sabzi means greens—fragrant handfuls of parsley, dill, coriander, mint and chives. In Urdu, it means vegetables, from slow-cooked okra to masala-slicked potatoes. In Yasmin’s kitchen, sabzi is all of this and more: a link to family, memory, and tradition; the scent of spring; and the soul of her cooking.

Set just metres from the fields where we grow our own seasonal veg, this intimate evening will feature a celebratory supper inspired by Yasmin’s recipes. We’ll be cooking up a seasonal menu inspired by the book, using the best of the day’s harvest straight from our fields. It’ll be the kind of meal that brings people together—generous platters, punchy flavours, nothing wasted. Yasmin will be joining us to share the stories behind her recipes, the memories tied to them, and why sabzi means so much more than just food.

This will be a relaxed, generous evening of good food, good conversation, and warm company.  Yasmin's book will be available to buy and she’ll be signing copies on the night.

Date: Thursday 10th July
Time: 7pm – 10pm approx
Cost: £55 per person
