Veg Growing Mini Masterclass
Join us at the Riverford Field Kitchen Garden for a veg growing mini-masterclass with Riverford Head gardener Penny Hemming.
If you’re in need of inspiration for growing at home, want to start a new veg patch or seeking advice on how to get the best from your garden space, then this mini masterclass will get you living life on the veg in no time!
Penny will lead a guided tour around The Field Kitchen Garden and Polytunnel talking through what we grow, how we grow and the different varieties we choose. There’ll be demos, top tips, practical guidance and of course, Penny will be on hand to answer your questions.
The course will be about 1.5 - 2 hours long - dependent on numbers, chat & questions along the way!
We are running two mini masterclasses on a Saturday: 9.30am-11.30am / 4pm-6pm, and one class on a Friday 4pm-6pm.
£25 per person (and some Riverford veg goodies to take home!)
Social distancing: We are keeping the class numbers low (max 10) so that we can observe social distancing guidelines. We ask that you please work with us to keep everyone safe. You will receive an email with the most up to date details on this before your event.
Access: Please note this event isn't is unfortunately not suitable for guests in wheelchairs due to limited space in the polytunnel and the garden being uneven and on a slope.
