Mid-week Supper with Joe Woodhouse
Mid-week Supper with Joe Woodhouse
We’re delighted to welcome Joe Woodhouse back to the Riverford Field Kitchen for a special midweek supper inspired by his new book, Weeknight Vegetarian.
This is a relaxed evening focused on how Joe cooks and eats at home — the habits, preparation and flavour-building techniques that make it possible to eat well, even when time is short.
The menu will be drawn from the book and adapted especially for this night: generous, veg-led dishes built around everyday ingredients, good seasoning and a little forethought. Joe will introduce the menu, sharing the inspiration behind the recipes and how these ideas translate into real-life midweek cooking.
If you joined us for Joe’s previous visit, you’ll recognise his love of seasonal vegetables and bold flavour — but this evening offers a more personal, everyday perspective: good food not saved for special occasions, but woven into the week.
Look forward to shared tables in a nod to the original Riverford Field Kitchen, a relaxed pace, plenty of conversation and the chance to purchase a signed copy of Weeknight Vegetarian.
