Hedgerow Walk & Foraged Supper
We are delighted to welcome back forager and brewer Stuart Woodman, who will be hosting an evening of foraging, wild food feasting and beer pairings at The Riverford Field Kitchen.
Guests can choose to start the evening with a short foraging walk, around the fields and hedgerows surrounding The Riverford Field Kitchen, or just join us for supper. Stuart will share his expertise on nature’s larder during the autumn, as well as highlighting what to avoid. You’ll then head back to The Riverford Field Kitchen for a 7 dish veg-centric foraged feast, showcasing some of the wild ingredients seen on your walk. Stuart will be on hand throughout the evening to guide you through his beer and food pairings, as well as to share more of his wild food and foraging knowledge.
Stuart has been teaching foraging & wild food cookery for a number of years in Cornwall and beyond as well as delivering the foraging programme at Port Elliot Festival, alongside foraging courses with partners such as The Wildlife Trust, The National Trust and 7th Rise amongst others. His award winning microbrewery Woodman's Wild Ale is based in Cornwall and specialises in beer brewed with foraged and wild ingredients.
