CHASING SMOKE: Middle Eastern Fire Feast
Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Where there’s fire, there’s delicious food to share, and friendships and memories to make.
We are excited to welcome back Sarit and Itamar of London-based Honey & Co for an evening of Middle Eastern food from their adventures around the Levant. From the countryside of Jordan to the back streets of Cairo they have been following a smoke trail, answering the ancient call of the hot coals, chasing down the delicious, proud traditions of cooking over fire around the Middle East – from eating sweet roasted chestnut at roadside stalls in Adana to grilling sardines on Greek beaches.
Join us as we celebrate the launch of their new book: CHASING SMOKE: Cooking over fire around the Levant, with feasting dishes such as grilled peaches with almond tahini, chicken shish in sweet confit garlic marinade, BBQ lamb chops with fresh plums and spiced plum sauce, and whole burnt aubergine with charred egg yolk and chilli sauce.
Guests will be able to buy a copy of Chasing Smoke: Cooking over fire around the Levant and get it signed by Sarit and Itamar.

About Honey & Co.
Since opening their first restaurant Honey & Co in 2012, Sarit & Itamar have become known for serving up delicious Middle Eastern food using the best ingredients they can get their hands on.
All within walking distance of one another, they have created a small community of restaurants at the heart of Fitzrovia in central London.
Pursuing a long-held ambition to open their own Middle Eastern-inspired restaurant, Honey & Co opened in June 2012 in Warren Street, Fitzrovia. They have since added a deli, Honey & Spice, a grill house, Honey & Smoke and published three cookbooks: Honey & Co Food From The Middle East, winning Sunday Times Food Book Of The Year, Honey & Co The Baking Book, and their latest book Honey & Co At Home. Their fourth cookbook Chasing Smoke: Cooking Over Fire Around the Levant is out May 2021.
